Hello, my name is Isaac Johnson and I am a senior trombone performance major hailing from Pine Island, Minnesota. I have been playing trombone for 11 years and am very grateful to Jeremy Wilson for allowing me to be part of the Blair Trombone Studio.  I enjoy taking part in all the ensembles that Blair offers including Jazz band and a “Soldier’s Tale Ensemble” I put together. In highschool I attended Interlochen Summer Arts Camp and performed with the President’s Own Marine Band. I have also had the privilege to solo with the Minneapolis Pops Orchestra (2014). Recently I worked with Ian Bousfield and Scott Hartman at Domaine Forget (2016). I am extremely excited to kick off my senior year with a trombone choir performance at the International Trombone Festival at the Redlands California and also participating in the Pokorny Seminar this June/July. Besides trombone, I am a very into cars and love seeing all the wonderful Nashville sights.
