I am from Katy, Texas, a suburb west of Houston. I've been playing trombone since I was 11, taught myself guitar, and took piano lessons for three years. In high school, I participated in various music ensembles including jazz band, symphony orchestra, choir and band, in which I was a drum major, and had the privilege of performing at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago two times. I currently study with Jeremy Wilson at Vanderbilt University where I've been featured in the school’s student showcase and chamber showcase concerts. In 2016, I was a finalist of the Brevard Music Center concerto competition. I have also performed with the Chattanooga Bach Choir, the Southern Star Symphonic Brass Band, the Huntsville Symphony as well as various recordings for video game soundtracks. After my time at Vanderbilt, I plan to continue trombone performance at a graduate level.
